We Made IT

What a year!

We did it, we made it through another year of interesting times. I’m sure everyone has experienced their ups and downs, but we made it through.

In the last few years, my passion for food has returned in full force. In turn my Instagram account was started and from that I’ve meet some Truely amazing people (that’s you since you’re reading this).

Obviously, you would have received a little package in the mail. A small gesture of my appreciation for you. I have a few suggestions on what to do with the spice mixes below, along with a list of ingredients (since I leave everything to the last minute and didn’t have time to reprint the stickers with them on).

LORD OF THE FRIES

Smash Roast Potatos

Ok, I know you all know how to roast a spud or two, but I wanted to show you this seasoning doesn’t just need to go on fries, despite its name being stolen from the show with the English cricketer. Besides, how many of you can say you’ve had the opportunity to smash some spuds? These will make the perfect side for your Christmas feast (providing the package got to you before Christmas….)

Ingredients

  • Potatoes

TACO EVERYDAY

Mexican Style Baked Beans

Ok, the obvious choice was to drop a taco recipe here, but obvious is boring. These beans are perfect for breakfast, and leftover ham fried on the BBQ will make it extra delicious.

BIG RED BIRD

The Best Fried Chicken... Ever

I tried really hard to think of a recipe that you could use over Christmas. But then i thought you all might be sick of Christmas feasting (is that even a thing?). Here is the very best fried chicken you will ever eat (hopefully). This will break up the Christmas fare. Wack it between some buns, add some salad and a dash of your favorite hot sauce, then dive right in.

  • Vegetable oil
  • Parmesan
