No Knead Focaccia

The lazy baker strikes back. Last time I shared a no-knead bread, well, this time, how does no-knead focaccia sound? Delicious right?

Ingredients

  • 500 g plain flour
  • 7 g salt
  • 7 g dry yeast
  • 475 ml warm water
  • butter for greasing pan
  • 50 ml olive oil
  • 1 tbps Season.andko Go Greek Seasoning
  • extra salt to top

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, add the flour, salt and yeast. Mix well. Add water and use a spatula (or clean hands) to mix until well combined. Cover and refrigerate overnight (or at least 8 hours).
  • Line a deep baking dish with baking paper and grease the sides with your butter. Add 1 tbsp of oilive oil and rub it into the baking paper. Add the dough and gently spread it to fill the pan. Cover with glad wrap and allow to rise for 2-3 hours.
  • Preheat your oven to 230c
  • Drizzle more oil over the top of the dough and use the tips of your fingers to make little indents in the dough.
  • Top with the Go Greek seasoning and a pinch of salt.
  • Reduce the oven heat to 220c, add the pan to  the centre rack, and bake for 25 minutes or until golden and delicious.
  • Allow to cool on a cooling rack before diving in.
