Chilli Oil Beef Stir fry

Mid-week blues? Not when there’s Beef and Chilli Oil stir-fry on the menu! This easy recipe will have you feeling energized and satisfied in no time.

Ingredients

For the Meat:

  • 1 x 400g rump steak – sliced thinly
  • 1 tbsp corn flour
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

For the Rest:

  • 2 tbsp veg oil
  • 1 tsp crushed ginger
  • 1 tsp crushed garlic
  • @season.andko chilli oil any of their oils will work
  • 2 tbsp Chinese cooking wine
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 6 spring onions sliced about 3cm in length
  • Sesame seeds and rice to serve

Instructions

  • Slice the steak, place in a bowl and add the cornflour and soy sauce. Mix well and set aside while you prep everything else.
  • Heat your wok over high heat, add oil and then in with the meat. Stir fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add ginger, garlic and chilli oil (I used 1 tbsp but do this to your taste), and mix well for 30 seconds.
  • Add cooking wine, hoisin, sauce and mix well for another 30 seconds
  • Add spring onion, mix well and top with sesame seeds
  • Serve on rice with more chilli oil if you like.
